Where to take my 3 year old to see snow - not skiing!

Would love some location suggestions for seeing some snow with my nature loving 3 year old. We've just had our first holiday together and she was fab and loved it so want to try somewhere new.

Definitely adventure style holiday, driving around and exploring - lakes and mountains would be ideal. Child friendly places nearby ... parks, farms etc would be a good bonus.

We've done Iceland, Norway, Finland pre DD but think they may be a little extreme for her first time. Any other scandi places? Specific locations if possible, would love to look at a few specific places and compare. Thanks!

Defo a possibility, I adore it but a bit scared of the weather unpredictability as my DD is so little, have been there in winds so strong you literally couldn't walk. Our flight was cancelled due to weather and we were chucked out the airport and had to scramble for hotels with 500 other people at 10pm at night in gale force winds. A rare event I'm sure but terrifying thought with a toddler! 😬😬 Was thinking March, don't know if it's any less wild then but still snow sticking about?

Lapland?

We visited late march a few years and a lot of the areas around Reykjavik (across to Vik) had no snow at all. We had to travel to Helgafell before we saw substantial snow and bad weather - and that I agree is no place for a small child. I think you could very mix a bit of snow and no snow whilst staying south
