Plan sickness

Hi, my daughter is almost 13 years and she gets air sickness, last we tried was last year. We are going on holiday this year (she said she feels like shes ready and more mature and wont feel sick. The thing is when she used to feel sick it would start from the ride from home till we land (she doesnt get car sickness).

Could this be just anxiety since her throwing up starts from the ride home when she knows we will be getting on a plane?
Has anyone's kids grew out of air sickness? (hoping for some comfort)

Is she actually slick, have you tried medication, wristbands etc?

Yeah tried wrist bands, patches, otc medication and nothing ever works
