Solo holiday inspiration

DH is going away for 9 days in sept so I'm looking for a solo break for me (4/5 days) but not at the same time as him (DSC and Dog to still look after)
I want, safe, sunbathing, some sightseeing, good food
Please give me some inspiration.. usual holidays are fly & flop to canaries or a Greek island exploring most days so want to try something different

Malaga meets all your criteria. The flight isn't too long and it's even possible to take the train to Granada for the day to visit the Alhambra.

I’m getting the train to Cassis next September.

We’ve stayed in the area as a family and I fancy going back alone to swim and walk.

What about a rail journey? You travel with other people so there's scope for making friends if you want to.

If you want to do something different, how about a guided/ group holiday?
