I’m looking for recommendations for myself and hubby May 2025 for 4 or 5 nights. We’re lucky to have the chance to go away without the kids. We want a pool/beach holiday. We don’t go out of the resort, we like to read and drink by the pool or beach all day. Thinking Morocco if anyone has any recommendations? Or Spain. Budget around £1k ideally but could stretch to £1500. Thanks

We went to Barcelo Santiago in Tenerife when we got a couple of days to ourselves. Adults only. Stunning views. Nice hotel. The resort outside was a bit tacky but we stayed in the hotel.

Atlantic Bay hotel in Cyprus is good for a fly and flop holiday - lots of sun beds, peaceful gardens, right on the beach, pool bar, choice of restaurants, spa etc… The transfer is about 45 mins

We went to the Medina Gardens in Marrakech, it's located right in the centre and a few minutes walk from the Souks.

You could go anywhere if you don't want to leave the hotel/ resort. Just choose an adult only one.

Look at Tui Blue - we like Tui Blue Suite Princess on Gran Canaria but they have nice hotels in Morocco too

Magic life in fuereteventura was great for the 2 of us, truly ai, different pool areas for quiet or activities, beach down a few steps, multiple restaurants and activities if you want to venture from you sun lounger eg had a go at archery and played tennis. There's an over 16 section if you want though in term time there wasn't a lot of kids, just a few cute toddlers who mostly ate early so by 7.30 all the restaurants were pretty much adult only
