I’m torn between Mitte and Charlotteburg. Latter sounds great with Tierpark and Zoo but far from tourist attractions.
Specific hotel recommendations also appreciated. I’m looking at BA packages at the moment.
Would also love recommendations for things to see in three days.
Im a German speaker but haven’t been to Berlin in a really long time!
TIA

I would say Mitte as well.

Reichstag - you can book online in advance - it's officially an enquiry but they come back very quickly with your confirmation.
You then can just walk in, you need your ID and there is a baggage check. When we went in August, the queue for tickets for the day was quite long and you then don't know what time slots are left.

It's free, so don't get caught in any private websites, this is the official parliament one:

Some of the museums are currently closed, do check if you want anything specific.

We got a weekly travel pass for central Berlin. You can add a day extension if you want to go to Potsdam for example.

We had a s/c flat, so can't comment on hotels.

Thanks. Would you say it's worth visiting? I have quite a few things on my list...

@Mumofboys2006 We are German, so the interest is slightly different.

There is a fairly interesting explanation inside the dome about the development of Germany as a state, the history of the parliament during the Third Reich and how it then developed after WWII. If you are interested in this, then I would say it is good.

If you just want to have a nice look over Berlin for free, I think it may be a bit too time consuming.
