Have been to NYC a few years ago but contemplating another trip next year adding on Nashville for the country music and double denim !
Does anyone have any ideas as to next time of year to go - thinking Spring or Autumn thinking 3 or 4 nights nyc and 3 Nashville ?
any advice particularly on Nashville ?

Hi we did Nashville in may (along with Memphis and New Orleans) great fun place to spend a few days. Did country music museum and Johnny cash museum. Old oprey show and walking tour. Also there’s a bus that goes from centre of town to belle mead plantation for $2 which is good half day out if you’re interested in that. Live country music in every bar in Main Street, all v good. FYI if you’re elvis fans Memphis is 3.5 hrs away on greyhound bus so might want to think about that. Graceland is well worth it and sun studio where he first walked in is spine tingling

Spring and Autumn are both nice times of the year weather wise to visit Nashville. April thru early June it's usually warm and not too humid (although April can be peak tornado season), September is nearly always pleasant and this year it's still in the 20's in October.
If you come early June then try and get tickets for CMA Fest, all the biggest Country stars take part. If you don't get tickets then avoid Nashville that week as the hotels put their prices up!
There's lots of nice hotels just off Broadway and Uber is easily available if you want to explore further out of downtown. Franklin is a picture perfect old fashioned Main St about 30 minutes out, definitely worth a visit if the weather is nice!

Autumn - look at the Home NFL games for the Tennessee Titans and the college football. If both are at home Nashville is MENTAL.

It's a brilliant city. There is loads to do. The Jack Daniel's distillery is not far away from Nashville
