Hi everyone. I've just booked to go to Tenerife next year anyone on here been any advice on what's it's like or places to go thank you

I'm going to Costa adeje next June family of 3 myself husband and 15 year old son.

I've scuba dived with turtles and rays not too far from there and it's one of my best ever holiday memories.

If you can't dive there's lots of shops where you can do a beginner course. Or the turtles are usually near the surface so you can go on a snorkeling trip in a boat.

The other obvious trip is to go to the top of the volcano, there's usually lots of leaflets around or there will be a shop where you can book that too. But make sure you take warm clothes as it can be 20/30 C colder up there than at the south coast. I had on jeans, hoodie and long sleeve top and vest underneath and it wasn't enough.

Siam Park water park is just up the road, walkable if you’re that end of Costa Adeje.
A trip up Mount Teide, optional cable car to the very top. Day tours go there , you could hire a car.
Book in advance , Siam Parc has options for fast pass, for food/drink and fancy beds.
Do get there 10 mins before the park opens and note you don’t have to queue up for a picture with the parrots once inside, just politely push straight on to bypass them.
Theres also plenty of boat tours offered if you’re interested in that.

If you book Siam Park, for goodness sake take water shoes with you. There’s a bit of walking to get to all the rides and the floor is hot!
Water shoes allow you to keep them on on the rides, sliders and flip flops have to be left at the bottom , with the other 35 pairs!
