Travelling to Puy Du Fou theme park next year and then onwards to Vendee.
We were planning to take the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Caen but priced at £520 with a cabin this seems ridiculously expensive. I’ve now realised Dieppe is only 30 min further from our destination, having looked at Newhaven to Dieppe this one is only £230.
Has anyone any experience of both or either of these routes and can advise if Portsmouth to Caen is worth the extra?
