Can anyone recommend a hotel in Vienna please?

I am buying my adult son and his girlfriend a night in a hotel in Vienna for his Christmas present and I have no idea where is good or not. Criteria:

Central
Cool, they're in their 20s
Ideally a suite or large room
He wants to be called "sir" so somewhere posh 😁
So no lower than 4 star, preferably 5 star

Thank you in advance for any recommendations. I have been browsing Conde Nast Traveller and so far Hotel Motto looks good and maybe The Hoxton but I'm not sure the latter is special enough. ETA budget up to £500 ish.

I have been to Vienna a few times and have stayed at several 5-star* *hotels.

I have just returned from another Vienna trip and stayed at The Leo Grand. A fairly new, boutique, high quality 5-star hotel right in the centre by the cathedral (you can see it from the hotel, but it still feels quiet and good quality). By far the best hotel I have stayed in in Vienna.

It was very reasonably priced, given its quality. Take a look on Google. Would highly highly recommend. I will be returning to Vienna and will only stay here now. Service was world-class.

The 25 hours is really cool, the rooms are quirky, it has a young vibe and a rooftop bar. Good location too

I stayed at Mecure Vienna Biedermeier which was so well priced. Loved the cute alley/street it was down. Close to the main train station and nice park. I walked everywhere, no need for buses as so central.

I travel to Vienna a few times a year with my job.

25 Hours is very cool and in a good location near the Museum Quarter. It has a nice rooftop bar. But it's not particularly posh, more quirky.

The Steigenberger Hotel on Herrenhof is posh and next to some of the popular tourist sights.

Also the Max Brown hotel in the 7th district is nice. It's more of a boutique feel, quite cool and relaxed

The Grand Ferdinand has a great rooftop bar/restaurant as well as a another restaurant specialising in Austrian cuisine

Oh wonderful - we did that NY22! It was fabulous, and the best place to watch the incredible amount of fireworks.

The Boutique Hotel

@PatriciaHolm brilliant-did the hotel do a New Year's Eve dinner at rooftop? We are wondering where to book for NYE- we usually go to Stockholm, Copenhagen , Berlin at New year- so it's a new one on us .
