Borneo in November ?

I'm considering going on holiday with a tour group and they've offered Borneo in November but I thought it was rainy season .
Has anyone been at that time of year to know how wet it was ?
Thankyou

I went in late Jan/Feb of 2004, which looking at average weather/rainfall it would typically be equally as poor as November, but actually the weather was fine. It was ages ago but I don't recall any heavy rain, definitely nothing that impacted on the trip enjoyment. I did a 3 week trip with Intrepid, climbed Kinabalu, went to both Sepilok and Semanggoh to see orangutans, Gunung Mulu was fab for walking and bats. It's a special place. Maybe I was lucky with the weather. You've just reminded me, I need to take the kids to Borneo!

I’ve looked at a holiday company I use and November certainly sees more rain than Feb in many areas. Better travelling conditions from March to October. As I’m assuming it’s not cheap, I’d consider Sept/Oct if you can. Or Spring? Depends what you want to do and what a lot of rain might stop you doing.

Thankyou both , I have googled and it is rainy season so I couldn't understand why the trip is arranged for then .

@hattie43 Because it’s cheaper? To fill hotels? Personally I would swerve it. It’s still a lot of money for possibly curtailed activities.

Yes that's the worry. I'd be a bit fed up to go all that way and have rain ruining our sightseeing.
