Hello,
First world problems I know but we’ve saved up for (for a few years) and booked a villa in the maldieves for half term. Kids are perfect age exam wise etc. Haven’t booked flights yet as we always do that last minute and the villa is cancellable. Most flights go through Qatar. Would you go now considering the situation in the Middle East? Or am i being over cautious? Any thoughts?

Apart from the conflict areas it's business as usual here in the ME flights are operating through key hubs such as Doha and Dubai. They are just not flying to Lebanon and Syria. I'm in Saudi and my friends daughter and baby has just flown in from the UK and I have family member booking flights to come and see us later this month. The ME is a massive area

@DJSteves thanks so much for that. It’s really reassuring. I always get anxious before taking them abroad and situations like these seem to heighten it for me. Thanks again x
