Travelling Ryanair with hand luggage only - can I take any toiletries?

DH and I are off to Dublin for two nights to celebrate our 10th anniversary. So because we are not taking the children I have opted for online check-in and no checked baggage. So just wondered what the regulations are currently re what you can take in the cabin. Has it relaxed since last summer when you could only take small quantities of liquids in clear bottles? What about aerosols?

Thanks.

It's still only 100ml qty's of each substance. They've relaxed the size of carryon luggage only (ie can have small suitcase, rather than just a handbag)

Thanks. I have got the suitcase dimensions - 55x40x20 cm that ryanair allow and have been out with my tapemeasure. So I could decant my moisturiser etc into little bottles with no more than 100 ml and that would be OK?

The limit is in terms of what you can take through security rather than into the cabin - you can buy stuff after security and take it on. Superdrug do loads of products in under 100ml bottles I notice, and of course you can decant. For ease you should put cosmetics/toiletries etc into a see-through bag. I certainly didn't have lotions etc in see through containers, and that hasn't been a problem.

Should be OK then. And if I have to buy a deoderant in Dublin will still be cheaper than paying to check luggage.

Aerosols would be fine too, as long as they are less than 100ml.

You also need to be able to fit all your liquids into a 20x20cm clear zip-top bag (you can pick these up at the airport) - limited to one bag per person.

Worth remembering too that if you do buy normal sized toiletries after security and take it on board, you won't be able to take it back through security on the way home!

Have a nice time btw!

Thanks. Will try to bear all this in mind. Just would be sad to loose a bottle of expensive perfume. The people behind us at Marseilles last summer had a rather large bottle of gin confiscated.
