Interlaken accommodation

Hi guys.
Considering spending 5 or 6 nights in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland in early June (after a campsite in Italy).
Going research blind!
it seems like Interlaken would be a good base, as it has good connections to Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Brienz etc.

I don’t suppose anybody has any particular accommodation recommendations for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 & 8)?
At a quick search there is a lot of pricey options around.
We have provisionally booked something in Austria but Switzerland looks as if it may be more spectacular scenery wise - albeit a lot more expensive!
Thank you for any advice

Interlaken is pricey but spectacular and brilliantly located. We’ve stayed 3 times at the Backpackers Villa and it’s fab. They have traditional shared backpackers rooms but a new bit with en suites. Our last room had a double and bunk beds as well as the most amazing view of the Jungfrau. They’ve kitchens so you can cook for yourself to save money as it’s very pricey! Nice outdoor space, table tennis, pool table all for free. Nice little breakfast. Would completely recommend.

I believe there’s also a campsite in interlaken which is really good but haven’t stayed there to recommend.

Manor Farm campsite which is nice and directly on the lake. Eurocamp are there - though not cheap either!

Researching the same and this is top of the list - it’s in lauterbrunnen. Interlaken is a good base but not supposed to be as scenic.

Wilderswil, which is just outside interlaken, is a good option. It is much cheaper than Interlaken and just the next stop on the train. In fact it's closer to most of the big mountain places.. JUNGFRAU HOTEL RESTAURANT – Wilderswil near Interlaken (jungfrau-hotel.ch) is where I always stay.

JUNGFRAU HOTEL RESTAURANT – Wilderswil near Interlaken

The JUNGFRAU HOTEL *** in Wilderswil near Interlaken is the finest location in the heart of the Bernese Oberland with a view of the Jungfrau Panorama.
