Jet2 payments..

Has anyone booked with Jet2? Booked a holiday in August for June next year & paid off £1000 here & there. Have tried for the past couple of weeks to pay off some more & it’s not taking the money. It’ll either only take £1 or the money will go into my pending on my bank but won’t actually go through. The bank have said it’s on Jet2s end, so contacted them today & they took payment over the phone & said in future to just call up. Which isn’t a massive issue but is slightly annoying when paying online is just more convenient.

Surely you don't have to pay until 10 weeks before? Why on earth would you let them keep your money instead of you getting the interest on it?

Because I am only able to have a basic bank account, so don’t accumulate a single penny of interest. Also I like to pay what I can when I can as out of sight out of mind, if the money sat in my bank I would spend it.

Lots of people do it this way... we do, we have approx £400/month coming out to cover our next 4holidays.. one is paid off this month so will look at booking Xmas '26! We book early and get great prices.
Always feel less when it come out every month rather than paying it in one go!

@obsessedwithfreshbread How are you biking so far in advance?! I can't get beyond 2025 on the Jet2 app.

Jet2 have released up until October 26, we booked sept 26 a couple of weeks ago so works out £60/month for 2 of us
