what age children cadelaide?

the "views" from the Eye were a bit lost on my children a few years back. they'd probably appreciate it more now.

Haven't done the Duck.

We took DD on the Duck when she wa 3 or 4 and she enjoyed that.

They're 8, 7 and 1 - sounds like they might be a bit young yet for the Eye?

I'm fussing about this trip, I've started a thread previously about it, but it's a rare opportunity for us and I do so want to get it right (recipe for disaster, I know!).

At the moment I'm favouring Duck in the morning and Science Museum in the afternoon. D'you think we could fit in the Eye too, in a stress-free kind of way?

Hello again. It's me banging on about duck tours again. The London eye is right next to where the duck tour goes from. My 2dcs enjoyed the eye but the queue was long even though we pre-booked on the internet (a must or you will queue even longer). I think your older two might enjoy it but it is always busy and you have to jostle a bit for a window space although the pod is large enough for all to see really. My eldest enjoyed taking photos from there.

The walk along the Southbank from the Bridge towards the National Theatre takes you past the Eye. The walk itself is fun for kids with loads of street performers and those live statue people!

Your kids will probably love to look up at the eye but as someone said..the novelty might wear off once they're in it! Duck sounds fun and Science museum below ground is great for youngish kids....except school hols or weekends when you can barely get near the interactive stuff!

My kids LOVED the mummies at the British Museum!
