Lapland overnight stays?

Hi all,
Does anyone know of any companies that offer one night stays in Lapland with activities included? I've only so far seen companies doing day trips or several nights stays. but no-where doing one night trips. TUI do day trips with husky rides, meet santa etc included, which would be perfect, but I'd like to stay the night in Lapland and do some stuff the next day as well with the kids so it didn't feel so rushed and could make a weekend of it.
Thanks in advance to anyone with any advice. :)

We went with Canterbury travel. Didn’t do 1 night though so not sure if they do. We stayed 3 nights, it was fab. I could have happily stayed another night! There was loads to do and it was nice not being rushed around.

That's interesting thanks @CaptainCrocs I wasn't sure there would be enough to do for that long. Maybe I need to look a a 2 or 3 night break instead.

You need at least three nights there's so much to do!

Remember factor in that being in the cold can be quite tiring for little ones. You need plenty of breaks to warm up and refuel. There may also be travel between different activities.

The day trips often give you short tasters of activities, sometimes they only last a few minutes. We booked our own husky experience. The sleigh ride was around an hour, then time to spend with the dogs, followed by berry juice and snacks after. That was half a day alone, I definitely would t want to rush it by trying to squeeze everything into a day unless you really have to.

One of the things my DC loved was the downtime in the evenings where we'd walk to the village, have a pizza then they could sledge and play in the snow on the way home.

There is a fb group that can talk you through setting enticing up and can save you £££. May be worth a look.

It is absolutely worth staying 3 nights. I’ve been to ski resorts quite a lot but Lapland was something else. The level of snow, the sleds available everywhere for dragging the kids along in the evenings. The food! It was a great experience and was well worth the cost. Loved the husky rides, the reindeer sleigh ride and feeding them, fab tobogganing and just beautiful scenery.

Okay thank you for all of your advice. I'll plan to be there a few nights instead I think. :)

You can do it yourself? I put together a DIY trip and it costed much cheaper. We only stayed one night in Rovaniemi, though. We stayed one night in Helsinki (which is fab and very Christmassy. Great shops and an awesome soft play). Travelled on the sleeper; one night in an apartment; one night travelling back to Helsinki on the sleeper. 4 nights in total. We did Santa Village plus the adjacent Snow world, over 2 days.

Thank you. I'm really excited about trip planning now.

Any ideas of best resorts to stay in?

Did you book anything for this year KitKat? I had also been looking for a 1 night trip but everything I found was either a day trip or a 3+ night stay.

What are you wanting? Busy with lots to do or quiet and authentic?
We stayed in Ruka - Tontu apartments.
Ruka is a ski resort. A few shops and restaurants a 10 min walk from the apartments. But pretty small and quiet. It was just right for us.
