i am looking for some advice for a holiday. I really want to go to Oman but am concerned about the proximity to Iran with the current issues. Does anyone know if it is safe to visit?

If it gets to the point where Iran is firing missiles at Oman, you won't be going anywhere on holiday, because at that point there would be 50 or more countries involved in a war. It would be a bit like Americans not going to Sweden today because of its proximity to Russia.
