Not been but planning to next week. From Drayton Manor brochure, there is plenty to do including train rides, a soft play, and range of rides from gentle roundabout type ones to more scary ones aimed at older kids.

will let you know when we have checked it out!

2 for 1 voucher on many Kelloggs cereal packets at the moment. It's for zoos and aquariums, but Drayton is included as they have a zoo within the theme park.

oh great, will look at the kellogs packs thank you. Just got the red book from wolworths but cant see the voucher .

we're thinking of going this sunday, blithedance, did you go? was it good?

mumto2andnomore · 28/04/2008 19:23

We went yesterday and really enjoyed it. Loads of rides in Thomas land plus a wide variety in the rest of the park for all ages. The zoo bit was quite small but we had a quick look.My 9 year old and 4 year old loved it . We used the kellogs vouchers and there were no queues though suppose it might be busier next weekend. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know.

chocolatespiders · 28/04/2008 19:31

we went few weeks ago and dd2-4 loved it. must have gone on all the rides at least 5 times each....had a really good day...

we use tesco vouchers to get in...

ClareVoiant · 29/04/2008 13:38

just ordered our tesco deals tokens to get in. hope they arrive by the weekend [fingers crossed emoticon].

The website says that under 4's are free, which is a result as ds is only 2 1/2,however,does this mean he wont be able to go on much?

he's a real thomas-a-holic and i'm sure he'll love it either way.

There is a lovely Thomas themed soft play area which he will enjoy. The Thomas train is suitable for all ages and I think he would be able to go on most of the rides in Thomas land. In the main park there is a knights boat ride, a pirate ride and a boat ride on the lake which he would be fine on,there are probably loads more thats just off the top of my head.Plus there is a park, the zoo and farm animals so you will have loads to do dont worry.

We took 2 2yr olds to Thomas land a couple of weeks ago and they loved it. The rides are a littl bit old for them but they did enjoy seeing the characters and going on the train and HArold the helicopter. Tickets are £23 per adult, but if you have tesco club card points they can be exchanged for 4times their value to buy the entrance tickets for Drayton Manor.
If you go in the week there are parent and toddler reduced rates (which isnt that much less since under 4's are free anyway).
The zoo and Spencer's outside play area are good, if the weathers OK.

They did really enjoy but it was quite busy as it's only just opened.

The shop's quite good too!
