Greek island resort help

Hi all

I’m looking for recommendations / if anyone has been to any resorts in Greece / Greek islands area that are great for families? I’m wanting to look at somewhere for May half-term next year and I’ve seen loads of lovely hotels, but I’ve no idea about the areas they’re in. We’d ideally like a promenade/some shops to wander on an evening, a beach - doesn't have to be miles long, just as long as there is nice sand and water - and maybe a kids fun park or something similar for a change from the hotel on an evening or two. I don't know if such a place exists, but if anyone knows of or had been to any resorts that would fit this bill I would greatly appreciate any recommendations!

We have already been recommended Protaras in Cyprus, which I'm going to have a look into, but open to any other suggestions - many thanks in advance

I was literally about to ask the same question for May half term so following!

I've just booked for May half term next year in Rhodes old town.

Booked the alexia mercure hotel

The beach is right by the hotel and then ten mins the other way is the old town with entry to the beach and all the history,shops restaurants etc

We wanted something that had everything there to suit everyone.

There are boat trips that go from the hotels and just nearby that can also take you across to other islands which we have booked and a boat trip for a day including snorkelling etc.

You can also get a ferry to near turkey for a day if you want to try somewhere else.
