London in October break

Hi,

we’re going to London during the October hols (Scotland).
We have a 5 and 8 yo and I’m looking for suggestions on what to do. We’ll be staying in Clapham at a family members home, but they’re not there.
I took my 8yo to see Matilda last year and know about the obvious things like the Natural
History museum etc.

Any tips welcome! Thanks!

The Paddington Bear Experience is new and well worth going to.
Wonderlab in the science museum is really good for an 8yo, whilst the ‘The Garden’ in the basement is designed for 3-6yo.

Thanks. I’d heard about the Paddington experience but would they both like it? They think he is cute, but have never been very into it.

How long do you have? I'd recommend a day in Greenwich - Maratime museum, observatory, curry sark- all excellent, plus you can get a boat there and see some sights. Tower of London also very good for those ages (pricey though). Wonderlab at the science museum also worth a trip to.
