My sister-in-law is coming over from Canada and planning a trip to Turkey this coming mid-November. She’ll be in Istanbul, and we're thinking of joining them for four days. Has anyone been around that time? What's the weather usually like, and is it worth visiting in November?
My DH has driven us through most of Europe, and he’s quite comfortable behind the wheel. But we’re a bit unsure about driving in Istanbul. Would you recommend hiring a car, or is it better to stick to public transport? We tend to hire a car from the airport as with the kids, it generally gives us more flexibility.
