Austria Kinderhotel for skiing holiday

We are looking to take the kids skiing in February. DH and one DC have skiing experience but the other DC is a total beginner (as am I) so somewhere with good beginner slopes and a skiing school is a must. And we’d like some other activity options at the hotel, family rooms, and decent food. Seems like many of the Austrian kinder hotels would fit those criteria, just trying to figure out now if there are any that are easier to access. We can fly into either Munich or Salzburg, and would prefer not to rent a car if possible, as we are wary of winter driving in a country/region we have not been to before. Are there any of the kinder hotels that are easier to access by public transport? Or if renting a car is a must, that would be an easy drive from the above airports?

The Achensee is a good place for beginners skiing with some options for more advanced skiers and there is a kinderhotel at Maurach.

After posting initially I realized it will be much easier and cheaper to fly into Munich rather than Salzburg, if that makes a difference in the recommendations. Thanks again!

Where did you decide on in the end? We are torn between Kinderhotel Waldhof and the Sport Hotel Achensee.

Will also be flying into Munich as flights to Salzburg are insane!
