Anyone booked this far ahead yet? For various reasons we wont be able to go away in the summer of 2026 so looking for our "main" holiday to be then. There will be:
2 adults, 13yo football mad DS and outgoing sociable 9yo DD
Things which have worked really well in the past:
- eurocamp (but unlikely to be warm/enough open end March 2026)
- cruises - we have done these last 2 years and LOVE them, but feel like we "should" have a change
- center parcs type holidays- but again, weather
Things that worked quite well:
- your typical AI in Spain- but would need further south for end march to get decent weather- not "sunbathing hot" but not chilly
- Theme park holidays eg Efteling, Europa park and staying on site
Things that really don't work
- a villa or gite where theres no-one for DC to play with
- a city break where theres nowhere for v v active DS to run around letting off steam
Budget up to 4.5k
Any ideas welcome
