Dog friendly cottage/lodge

We want to go away after Christmas somewhere cosy with our kids and the dog - ideally by the coast for wintery beach walks and must have secure enclosed garden. Anywhere in England or Wales considered. I’ve been looking endlessly at the usual cottage sites and AirBnB but would love a personal recommendation for somewhere truly dog friendly.

We love Flear Farm - great activities for kids and they love dogs too

Ah Flear Farm looks incredible! I wish I’d known about it when our kids were younger - they’re young teens now so we don’t actually need it to be that child/baby friendly! I should have said.

Try looking at East Ruston Cottages in Norfolk- all their properties are properly dog friendly and very well described on garden security. We've stayed at a couple of places through them, and our dogs loved the beaches

Hillside Village in Wales www.hillsidevillage.co.uk/dog-friendly

oh Yes they might be a bit too old! (Although I personally love the playbarn 😂)

Have a look at the Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages website. I've 2 from there and they were both fine although the second one was much nicer than the first.

Not by the beach but I highly recommend riverside cabins in Shrewsbury, on the river and dog friendly. Took my 2 dogs there and they provided dog beds & bowls and a few of the pubs nearby were dog friendly too!

We stayed here for a long weekend,it was perfect. We don't have a dog, but our family member who stayed in another lodge did and was very happy.

Take a look at Low Costa Mill. Dog friendly cottages, a secure dog paddock and about 39 mins from the coast. Open fires and a swimming pool too!
