Eurocamp spending money

Has anybody been to Eurocamp recently?
Looking at whether it would work out cheaper for us to drive to the south of France Eurocamp next year instead of our usual all inclusive holiday.
We are a family of 4, 2 adults and then would be a 2 and 1 year old.
Wondering how much spending money we would need for 2 weeks?
Only thing I can find ok google is from 2014!

We did Eurocamp this summer (like most years), drove from the ferry at Caen/Ouistreham and back to the Ardeche and near Beziers. Didn’t pay much attention to costs but I reckon roughly they were:
Around €300 on petrol
€140 on motorway tolls
Something like €700 to €800 on food
Another €300 on two meals out
€250 or so on incidental spending
But our children are 16 and 19 so it’s effectively four adults on holiday and we weren’t watching the pennies (or cents 😀).

It obviously depends on how frugal you are, but I would say that Eurocamp isn’t necessarily cheaper than AI from what I’ve seen, it is a different type of holiday. (And worth every penny for me not to have to share a room with my kids or eat in a soulless buffet.)

It's a long way to drive with young children, you would need to add cost of probably two hotels each way as well. Have you considered flying? It may work out cheaper overall especially if you can go out of school holidays. You can search for sites that are near an airport on the Eurocamp website and look at getting a taxi or hire car.

Does it have to be the south of France? Vendée is much closer and has some lovely sites for little ones like clarys plage. Or Brittany, though the weather can be a bit more variable!

We've just come back from a Eurocamp in Vendee.
We did the ferry from Portsmouth to Caen on the way and didn't go in toll roads.
We spent around €100 per day whilst at Eurocamp, 2 adults and 1 child.
On the way back we went on the tunnel and spent €70 ish Euros on tolls.
Fuel cost around €100 for the whole time in France but we did fill up before we left UK and when we returned.
All in all I think we spent approx. €1150 euros over 8 nights.
