We're off to a French Siblu camp in June and just wondering if anyone had any tips/advice for what to take for the journey - we're driving with our two DS's who will be 8months and 2.9 years. Also, if you have any advice about what to take to a Siblu camp that would be most appreciated!

The site is in the Vendee (sp?). Think it's about a 6-7 hour drive from the ferry port at Caen.

Errr...don't do it ?! Sorry, not helpful but we did York to Cornwall a few weeks ago with fairly similar ages and I still bear the scars!

But seriously, is there a chance you could time it so you leave the ferry around bedtime and hope they doze on the way. Mind you, probably not ideal if you're arriving at a camp site in the middle of the night. In which case, I recommend lots of snacks, favourite cds, frequent stops and plenty of fresh air when you do stop.

Also, if ds1 is still in nappies, I wouldn't rush the potty training! I lost count of the number of emergency wee stops we had to make...
