March/April Honeymoon or Minimoon ideas!

Hi all,

We're getting married next March (the end of the month) and are looking for some honeymoon or minimoon inspiration. We think we probably don't want to do the full honeymoon straight after the wedding so are probably looking for a minimoon (a short break of a few days) with a later honeymoon, but if we find the right type of thing for late March/April we could do the full honeymoon.

We know we definitely don't want anything too adventurous or far away (think no safari!) and are looking for a break involving good food and relaxation. No specific budget as we're happy to splash out for something special. Thanks all!

Maybe somewhere like ZillergrundRock luxury mountain resort or Aqua Dome resort, both in Austria.

I have been mulling over the Oberoi in Marrakesh for a special occasion holiday. I think the weather is pretty pleasant in spring and the hotel looks stunning although it's £££.

We honeymooned in Sicily in early April and it was lovely and warm, very relaxing, great food, nice people. I’d reccomend! We flew into Trapani o the northwest coast and stayed in a cute harbour town called Castellemare something! It was near a nature reserve called Scoppello. Plenty to explore in the area.
