We need to get our butts in gear. Keep talking about it but not sorting it.

On your site

Hembsy is very Blackpool-like, beach, lots of attractions, lots to pay for

Caister is a very small town/large village - don't know much about it's holiday area

California is like Hemsby (IMO) maybe a bit more old fashioned

Redwood · 19/04/2008 20:09

Hi, May half term is Greece with Mark Warner Anyone got any tips for San Agostino resort?, then Aug is south of France camping.

KatyMac · 19/04/2008 20:11

this is lovely but it's miles away

I could probably pick you up from the train station & deliver you somewhere if it helps?

I have a people carrier (there are 6 of you?) & plenty of car seats/boosters

FAQ · 19/04/2008 20:12

thanks Katy - so Hembsy or California would be good with 4 small children to occupy.....

KatyMac · 19/04/2008 20:13

Sea Palling is really old fashioned - they have a shop, a cafe, a pub and an ice cream shop - I really love sea palling - but not sure if there would be enough to do for a week

Jennster that looks lovely.

We have the following planned:
Two nights in Dublin for DH and me to celebrate our 10th anniversary sans children (1st weekend in May)
Two nights in London avec children (1st weekend in June)
Two weeks in Spain (near Malaga ]) which is because PIL very generously offered us use of their holiday points (too busy cruising on QE2 to use them themselves) so it has cost us very little apart from the flights (end of July). It would not be our choice of place as we prefer somewhere independent rather than large complex but the DC will totally love it as it is right on the sea front with umpteen pools.
