My husband has just over two weeks of leave at the end of January when I'm still on maternity leave, and we'd like to book a trip away. We will have a 6 month old and a 3.5 year old. Looking for ideas of holiday destinations (whether places or specific hotels / resorts) that are a good combination of fairly easy but not boring (and safe!) - when our eldest was 11 months we did a Portgual all inclusive which we enjoyed for the mealtime and snack ease particularly, but we did have to also hire a car and take trips out every single afternoon as we weren't sunbathing people even before kids. It doesn't have to be hot as long as there's stuff to do for us and a toddler and there'll be enough straightforward food options. Open to various levels of cost / travel duration.
