We're a neurodiverse family and we're thinking about places for next year. We were thinking about center parcs due to ease but am worried about whether it'll be packed in the summer hols?

What do you like to do? Swim? Organised fun? History? Shops? Hiking?

We tended just to go to holiday cottages in quieter areas, eg North Wales, Shropshire, Northumbria, North Norfolk, and self cater / have days out.

Everywhere will be packed in the summer holidays. Butlins. Stay in the hotel not a 'chalet'. Dip in as much as you want.

Kids love swimming so need somewhere with a pool and as a family we like to do stuff outdoors (forests, beaches, etc). Not interested in cities or museums particularly. Flip side - don't want anywhere too busy loud, so anywhere with lots of loud music, party atmosphere is a big no. Just want something easy with activities for the kids to do (not necessarily kids clubs as unlikely they'd do that) and a decent swimming pool as most likely that's what we'd do every day.
