Is it silly to book an Oct 2025 package holiday now?

I know what we want and paying in 14 instalments would be helpful. It’s jet2 we’re looking at. I just don’t want to book now then next month find prices go down.

I don't think you'll get it cheaper except maybe booking just after Xmas, you might get an extra £200 off. We booked after Xmas last year for this December and they were doing that. Other than that though i doubt it will come down.

If you want to go and it’s a good price and you like the fact that you’ll have plenty of time paying it off then I’d go for it!

I'd go ahead if it was exactly what I wanted.

BUT - don't look at the prices ever again !

Booking 12+ months ahead is pretty much the only way I can manage to pay (in instalments) for a family holiday. I am going away to Morocco next week and since I booked it this time last year the price has gone up, but only by a couple hundred.

You could always put the money in savings and book later on if you're unsure about booking now but want to spread the cost.

I always book 12 months in advance

I'd book it. They don't tend to drop in price much anymore. Like a previous poster said, sometimes they do a £200 off voucher code around Christmas but in my experience, they hiked the price anyway so wasn't much of a saving.
