Is this Jetlag? Or SAD?

Came back from a wonderful long holiday last week, 10 hours later in the other country. I am
still not sleeping through, feel demotivated and lacking in energy and can’t focus at work. I suffer from SAD too so waking up everyday grey skies doesn’t help.

What vitamins do I take? Or what should I do to help? I already starting using my SAD lamp, take vitamin D, do a bit of exercise and meditation.

Hi- I discovered that Jet lag exacerbates and other underlying conditions. Flared my fibromyalgia for weeks! So I would say it's the SAD. High dose vitamin D. Get outside when there is some sunshine. Use your lamp. You will start to feel better.

OP came back last week. The time difference was 10 hrs.

Thank you. It has been nearly a week now since we came back. The time difference with the other country is 9 hours actually; we were away for a month.

Hope I start feeling better next week as hate feeling like wasting time at work

9 hours ahead or 9 hours behind the U.K.? Travelling east or west can make a huge difference in jet lag.

after a month away I'm not surprised you feel a bit "blah" op!, I feel the same after only 2 weeks away! It can take a while to get back into the rhythm of every day life again.

Thank you everyone. The other country is 9 hours ahead. It was a wonderful holiday too but need to get back to reality. Would double the vitamin D maybe get some magnesium and omega 3. Put the SAD lamp longer.
