Where to holiday near Disneyland Paris?

we’re taking the kids DD7 and DS4 to Disneyland Paris in April and wanted to spend a few days beforehand somewhere else in Northern France to make it a week long holiday. Any suggestions for family friendly places to go that time of year? We’re open to cities/towns or more rural but needs to be fun for the kids of course and have options for if weather is poor. We considered Centreparcs but keen to not do another park that’s quite pricey alongside Disney.

I didn’t stay in Disneyland but in Marne La Vallee. It’s situated just outside of Disneyland but has a giant shopping centre and aquarium. We stayed for the week and used the metro to get into Paris and then Disneyland itself. We drove so managed to explore some other towns which were incredibly beautiful.

La Croix du Vieux Pont has a covered, heated pool open from April. It’s got quite a bit to do indoors, like soft play, laser tag, bowling, kids clubs etc…
