Hi does anyone know of any companies that send nappies/baby food abroad directly to the hotel that you are staying in on holiday to save you using a whole suitcase full of them?! www.tinytotsaway.co.uk do it but it's quite expensive. Anyone heard of any other companies? Thanks.

No but have travelled several times with ds and they do sell nappies and baby food (and baby milk)abroad so there really is no need to fill your suitcase, just take enough for the first day plus a bit extra for luck.

Really dont worry about this, they have babies abroad too!

Even in Africa we can buy decent quality nappies and baby food! Take enough for a couple of days and ask the hotel when you arrive to point you in the direction of the nearest supermarket.

I bought baby food in the country I visited and it had added salt and sugar. I don't know if you'd be bothered by that, I was but there wasn't alot I could do!

Some package operators will deliver a baby pack . Where are you going, unless it is very remote you could probably cope with the local merchandise

If you really need something specific, you can do "Poste Restante" to your nearest large town/city, but really it's a very big faff, and only useful if you're staying in a big city.

I have done it with a big box of toys though, to Fort William, while we flogged across London with rucksacks and went up on the sleeper. Worked well.
