Hello we are looking to go away with our one year old at the very end of September/first week of October. Leaning towards Crete but will it be warm enough. We did Turkey last year but would like to try somewhere else this year. Open to other suggestions but would like to hear positives or negatives of Crete and Malta at this time of year. Thanks

We went to Malta the year before last in mid October and it was warm enough to eat outside every evening. Sunny most days as well.
Never been to Crete but a google of the climate stats suggests its a lot cooler in October - 13c vs 25c.
Didn't try any of the beaches in Malta as its not our thing, theres lots of history there but I expect with a 1 year old you wont be traipsing around old churches and forts!
