Hi. I'm looking for the Holy grail.
Not too hot mid 20s c ideal. All inclusive or HB. Must have a pool and be close to the sea. Not fussed about sandy beaches. Autistic 19 Yr old loves water. Husband loves old stuff. I'm happy sat with a book but we all enjoy the odd day trip. 3 hrs max flight from n orth. Ncl.man gla.

Iberostar Malaga Playa is within easy reach of Nerja and Malaga for some good days out.

Lanzarote would be perfect if you can stretch to 4 hours flight

I'm looking for somewhere October too, Scottish school holidays. Not a really busy resort, eg Benidorm etc. Looking at Rhodes, also been looking at cities like Valencia, Madrid, Lisbon but flights expensive for 4 of us
I've been to Majorca and Menorca in the past in October but the weather can be hit or miss.

Madeira would hit the brief

Half term is quite late this year, so you need to head quite far south for mid 20s - think Canary Islands, Morocco, Malta, Cyprus. These destinations might be a bit over your ideal flight time though from the North of England - e.g. Manchester to Malta is 3.5 hours; to Tenerife 4.5 hours.

If you are happy with highs of more like 21 / 22 (though you can get lucky!) you can look at places like Sicily and Southern Spain with a shorter flight time.

You might get cheaper flight prices if you're willing to go Sunday - Sunday rather than Saturday - Saturday.

Morroco. Essaouira is mentioned as authentic. Agadir is more resort. Temps around 25, flight time is longer than 3 hours though.
