Hotel Cala Blanca, Cala Blanca, Menorca

My husband has just booked a holiday for him and our 5 year old daughter at the Cala Blanca Hotel in Cala Blanca, Menorca. Does anyone have any experience of this hotel at all? Have just looked it up on Trip Adviser and Holiday Watchdog and have been quite horrified about some of the reviews by past guests! Am hoping that things have improved! Any experience of this hotel greatly appreciated!

hi there, i have been going to menorca since i was around 8, i am now 41, and the place is so so so more commercial, (it is however really rather beautiful) i am going again this year. however, cala blanca and cala blanes, are very touristy and attract alot of people, i do not know the hotel, but because menorca is so small, if you are hiring a car it wont really matter, cos you would just be using it as a base iyswim?
it really is a great place to go, with fabulous beaches, and gorgeous secluded ones, if you look off the beaten track, and the weather is not too hot which makes it ideal for little ones, im sure whatever the hotel is like, if you are prepared to leave the resort, you will have a really lovely holiday xx
