Is Menorca good for young adult : 21 years old and 18 ?

We are hoping to go there, it looks nice but have no clues where to go in Menorca. Thank you

It depends what you like.

It's great for swimming in gorgeous little coves, hiking around the coastal path, wandering around the main town and ex capital at the other end of the island (Mahon and Ciutedella), gin distillery, tapas and relaxing in the sun.

There's probably some bars in Mahon at least but it's not a place you go for lively nightlife.

There are bars everywhere in Menorca. But it’s quieter and more chilled than Majorca and Ibiza

There's not a busy nightlife if that's what your after

I first went to Menorca when I was 19 and boyfriend was 23, we had a great time, we didn’t go to nightclubs, but went to bars of an evening. Unfortunately we went end of September and weather was only good first few days, but not great after. We hired a car for 3 days just to visit different places on the island. If you want a quiet, relaxing getaway, then it’s perfect.

If they like going for a drink somewhere relaxed where you can still hold a conversation then yes. If they want nightclubs then no.

Well it depends what you want from a holiday. I would normally recommend Menorca for families with very small children. It's quiet and pretty.
For an 18 and 21 year old I would probably not choose Menorca, what do you want from a holiday?

We want a chilled holidays - nice weather and food and they will probably spend their time by the pool !

If you don't want nightlife then Menorca is great, but most of Majorca isn't about clubbing either (contrary to what some people seem to imagine) and there's a much wider choice of places to stay there.
