Edit: I spotted the typo in my subject line too late... What is a "shour" out??? π€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈπ€¦π»ββοΈ
We've (me and my 10 and 14 year olds) just come back from an 11 night holiday in Costa Rica. We booked through Families Worldwide. I've seen them mentioned a handful of times on here but they don't have many reviews online so I have to admit I was a little nervous before we left. So, I thought I'd do a quick post about my experience in case it helps someone else.
Basically, they were really good! Their group tour dates didn't work for us so we did a tailor made holiday. The good thing there was we had full control over the itinerary although it meant using shared transfers and not having a dedicated guide. The itinerary they developed for us was great, we loved everything we did. The transfers all worked perfectly and the various tour companies they booked for excursions were really good.
We could have done things cheaper if we booked everything ourselves, but having them do it saved so much effort. It also meant they could make some last minute changes for us, and they also covered a couple of room/hotel upgrade costs (one due to availability, the other because our consultant realised our hotel in San JosΓ© wasn't in the best location so changed it for us at their cost). And, as a solo adult with children, I had one point of contact should anything untoward happen.
Happy to answer any questions if anyone has them but otherwise I hope this is helpful to someone out there βΊοΈ
Now it's time to start thinking about our next adventure!
