What do you put toddler on for the pool who is too big for swim nappies?

Hi,

We are taking our 3 year old on holiday this week and just noticed you can't buy swim nappies in size 7. He doesn't wear nappies during the day, only at night, but thought I'd put him in a swim nappy to be on the safe side, but then found out they are only up to size 6. Any ideas...

If he's toilet trained, there's no reason to put him in a swim nappy. Just remind him regularly to use the toilet.

I agree with PP.
Swimming nappies don’t catch wee anyway. So it’s only a concern if you think he’s likely to poo? But it sounds extremely unlikely from what you’ve said.
If you’re really worried, is there any chance you could squeeze him into size 6? I find sizes vary so much between brands and styles.

Swim nappies are to contain poo not pee so if he's toilet trained through the day he won't need one.

I find the swim nappies from Huggies a bit bigger than the normal nappies. My DD still fits size 3-4 despite wearing size 5 nappies. But like the others say only needed if you think he might poo in the pool.

A reusable swim nappy? You can get ones that look like swim shorts.
But agree he doesn't need one if fully toilet trained (I just don't think about how much kids wee is in the pool on holiday 😬)
