Villa recommendations Lanzarote

Hi there,

We’re hoping to visit Lanzarote just after new year (3 adults , 2 kids so need 3 bedrooms).
does anyone have any recommendations re: villas and areas to stay that are good for kids (age 11 & 6).

We would like a heated pool.

we've never stayed in a villa before so any top tips in searching is appreciated too.

We've been to Playa Blanca a few times. Nice sized resort - not too busy - that has a few good beach options and lovely promenade. I can send villa details if you want.

We went to Playa Blanca in 2023. Would definitely recommend. I'll link the villa we stayed in as a family of 5. Could walk into town from there and there was a little supermarket about 3 minutes walk away.

Playa Blanca is full of villas. We have stayed in Parque del Rey which is a complex of Villas around 15 mins walk to the restaurants and bars in the town and also at Rubicon Marina which is around the Marina area. Both were great. You sometimes have to pay extra to heat the pool but it’s a must at that time of year. We stayed in one with pool and hot tub and it was fantastic.

Last time around we were here: https://www.vrbo.com/en-gb/p1615338a it's 5 mins drive away from the main resort but some shops/restaurants walking distance and the villa itself was great. It had a decent sized garden (rare for Lanzarote) and some 'chill spaces' for kids.

We also looked at this one but it was booked but very nice: https://www.vrbo.com/en-gb/p1883381 5 mins drive up the hill from the town

And this one https://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/rentals/playa-blanca/14349944 as you can walk right out onto the promenade and into the town.
