Next year my Ds, Dd and I all have significant birthdays so we've decided instead of parties, we will have a big holiday

We've agreed that we would make a decision on precisely where at xmas this year and each of us will come with some suggestions and then we will pick the best one

We will be travelling in July. ( it's an A level summer and I'm reckoning on approx £10k - £12k . I've said I don't want to live out of a ruck sack but apart from that there's not many guidelines . I've got bad knees... I'm mobile but probably not up to trekking !

Dd Will definitely want Japan, ( though might be too hot ?)and I think Ds will suggest South America .... anyone got any other suggestions ?

Just looking for some inspiration

Tia

your knees…. limited on how far you can walk?

wizzler · 01/09/2024 15:46

Yes ... ok for a mile or so but don't think I'd manage a big hike

well that also rules out much sightseeing involving much walking surely if only about a mile. Let alone a hike!
