Agritourisma in Italy

We are looking at staying at an agritourisna near Florence next year, anyone been to one? How are they? Recommendations? Suggestions?! Thanks!!

Me and my mum stayed at one near Florence - it was a chianti reserva and olive oil estate. It was great!

Stayed in one in Piedmont. I was concerned it would feel like we were just in someones home if you know what I mean. But it was lovely, the people were lovely, the food so was good cooked fresh every night.... she told us what she was cooking for the family and we could choose if we want any.

When we left we got salami and honey as gifts.
