Go on holiday every 12 weeks

DP and I have a plan to help us get through a stressful year at work. It is to go on a one week holiday every 12 weeks. Nothing fancy. £400 each for b&b with flights and a car for example.

Does anyone else go away this frequently? Does it help keep stress down?

I’ve started to go away probably more frequently than every 12 weeks in the last year or so. Get school holidays off which helps, though means it’s more expensive. But it’s generally just me and dh which makes it cheaper than if the whole family went. And we just go for a few nights.

In the past year I’ve been to Nice, Bruges, Valencia, Lisbon and Barcelona and 4 trips to visit family. One of which was a 2 week break including a week by the sea.

I’d rather several short trips than one hugely expensive holiday.
