Has anyone done a round the UK cruise? Did you enjoy it? Was there evening entertainment and did you dress up? What did you see?

My Brother did one only issue was the weather wasn't very good.
Why do the UK when you could do the med for a similar cost?

Yes we did it a few years ago.

We really enjoyed it - honestly I can't remember what the entertainment was like, we just tended to go for dinner and have a few drinks in one of the bars (I think we only had one formal night).

We are keen walkers so we did our own thing at each port - we did the cruise because we wanted to go to the Scilly isles and Orkney (although the weather was that bad when we got there we just went to the pub). Apart from Scotland we were pretty lucky with the weather in September.

Maybe because Tobermory/Guernsey/Dublin etc aren't in the med? People don't do this cruise to be on a cruise, they do it to visit the ports 😂

Thats a good point as they would be a long drive via road. My brothers only complaint is it was having work done so in places like a building site, but food etc was very good.
