Best holiday parks in Belgium

We fancy a road trip adventure with the kids next summer to the Netherlands and Belgium. Quite fancy Duinrell for the Netherlands leg but has anyone stayed at any good parks in Belgium, ideally near Ghent or another city (not Bruges as we’ve already been there). There doesn’t seem to be any Eurocamps and I’m not familiar with the local brands.

We did the same last year and stayed at urban gardens Ghent. There is a free shuttle to the city, a pizza truck most evenings which did incredible pizza and a park/lake beach area within walking distance. You can also order bread/croissants the day before that get delivered every morning. It's also easy to get to Bruges for a day trip if you fancy it.

We loved Hoeve den Overdraght, which is not your standard holiday park. It's on a farm and you stay in safari style tents (with private toilet and hot shower). It's not too far from Ypres, the coast and Plopsaland theme park.

Have you looked for inspiration on Little Clogs Holidays? I’ve found that really helpful.

Happy to recommend TerSpegelt if you’re willing to jump slightly over the border into the Netherlands. My friend has also been to the Belgian Center Parcs nearby and said it was nice - De Vossemeren.

Those all sound great, thanks! De Vossemeren looks particularly luxurious. We will already be in the Netherlands at Duinrell so wanted somewhere in Belgian for the second leg, although TerSpegelt does look lovely,

CP Eperheide is lovely and there is also one at De Haan. Landal.com and Roompot.com both have some parcs in Belgium. There is also Sunparks.

We have just got back from TerSpegelt and it was absolutely perfect. We had great weather and spent all week on the lake beaches which were pretty quiet - one with lots of trees for shade, soft sand, still water great for swimming.. another a bit busier with water slides, sand play, swings.. The whole place is so well looked after and the park's own chalets are high spec and spacious with a huge veranda. Activities all day if you want them, all included, eg zip wire, the Blob, sports, crafts, Our best self catering holiday, can't wait to go back.
