We go up to Scotland every year for a holiday. Always a different part and always love it. This year we’ve enjoyed the break but lots of things went wrong. To start off, our youngest dd’s suitcase didn’t make it to the car and we didn’t realise until we were unpacking. Cue a trip to Asda to get her a new wardrobe. The weather was pretty wet most of the time. I broke my favourite sunglasses. Half my make up bag contents fell down the toilet. We witnessed a car crash. Dd got a tick embedded in her neck. Driving home, the car had a warning sign saying to stop immediately, DH was sure it would be ok as done it before. We made it back but basically the engine had run out of oil. We joked that we picked up some cursed stones by a loch do DH has gone out to get rid of them! Anyone else had an unlucky holiday?
