I’m looking for somewhere (ideally in the UK) to take DF (85) on a short (4/5 days) holiday. Ideally adults only with entertainment laid on at night. We’re in Scotland so realistically only two of the Warner locations are drivable for a short break. We’re also finding their prices are going through the roof. We like a room each, they have next to no single rooms, so on each occasion each of us has paid the same price as a couple would have paid. It’s become very expensive for what it is. We could have had a week abroad flying from Edinburgh for what we paid last time!! DF doesn’t fancy that though.
We’ve now done three Warners breaks and DF feels he’d like something new. Trouble is I’m not sure anyone else does this kind of thing? Self catering might actually be better as we could get a 2 bedroom apartment or lodge or whatever and not get hit with huge single supplement. Any suggestions?
