Kid friendly hotels/accom not centred around swimming

Hi

We have two small children 3 & under and are looking to book a week away somewhere in Europe. We’ve traveled quite a lot and always do SC/Airbnb, car hire and travel around a bit etc. We are thinking about doing a trip where there is entertainment for the children where we are staying but need some inspiration. We went to a holiday park in the UK and liked the concept with the activities and early evening entertainment etc. What we don’t want to be doing is spending the majority of the time around a pool, would actually prefer no pool. Does such a place exist? Not really looking for a rural/farm/country type stay as we have family who live in rural France and spend time there every year.

@longdistanceclaraclara yes, definitely could just not use it. It just seems that the pool is the main attraction of the accomm in a lot of places

What about one of the european Centerparcs (much cheaper than UK) or look at Landal.com and Roompot.com. Some fab playgrounds/soft play areas at some parcs we've been to with petting zoos etc. Entertainment / mini discos in the evening with kids activities laid on in the daytime.
