We are hoping to kd a short break over half term- but unsure of where to pick.

somewhere in Europe- things to do with DS- 7, reasonable flights and easy to get about

Already done with DS:
Copenhagen- loved
Amsterdam- was ok

had considered Prague- but not sure

any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated

We are also happy to travel between places- we did Billund to Copenhagen to Malmo at Easter. 😀

Well I would have to go somewhere warm in October! So I would probably choose southern Europe. Maybe Italy or Spain. Is it a city break you want?

Or Dubrovnik.

We are not too fussed about it being too warm- rather it wasn't too warm for Walking about. We had considered Rome- but heard lots of scaffolding up on sites whilst they are gearing up for 2025 festival.

city break is good- I think- for ease- but happy to hear of other suggestions

another friend suggested to look at Croatia.

Berlin?

We've done a few city breaks with DS who is now 8. We've done Valencia, Venice, Porto, Gibraltar and Brussels.

You could also do a long weekend in Jersey.

Barcelona?

recently we have done in October;

  • Jersey
  • Guernsey
  • Paris

At easter we have done Munich and Berlin.

Several years ago we did a short cruise in October that covered Halloween and we went to Bruges. I liked it, no-one else in my family did as it was packed.

All were amazing. Paris was warm when we went in October - tshirts for me.
